Step Into The Wild

Step Into The Wild

“Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.” -John Muir

For 5 days and 4 nights my other half and I explored immaculate mountains ranges, waterfalls taller than buildings, and encountered wildlife up close and personal.

Yes we slept in a tent and yes it was cold πŸ˜€

The Rockies were taller than any mountain that I had ever seen. The peaks were spotted with patches of snow and it was 75 degrees where I was standing. If that doesn’t make you realize “wow that’s a freakin’ tall mountain” I don’t know what would!

It probably comes as a shock to people who knew me as a child that I now have a passion for the outdoors.

I use to hate being outside. All of the bugs, the heat, the cold, I hated it all.

But then something changed when I expierenced being alone in nature surrounded by some of the tallest mountains in the world. Nothing else can make your problems feels so small.

Nature is my happy place.

The forest, the beach, a mountain top they all silence the noise from this crazy world we are living in, it helps calm the soul.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed from anything in life I highly suggest unplugging and stepping into the wild.

It will change your perspective on life, I’m certain of it.
